These were the phrases of relatively elated Phyna as she was declared the winner of this year’s version of Big Brother Nigeria (BBNaija) tagged: Level Up, remaining night in Lagos, Nigeria.
Phyna polled the highest votes at the grand finale, beating Bryann to the 2d place.
Addressing the housemates shortly before they exited the house, Big Brother (Biggie) said: “The world now awaits you. You may now depart the Big Brother house.”
In a short interview with the show host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the 25-year-old winner said: “I am grateful for the possibility to be in the residence and the experience has been greater than awesome. I simply want to thank Big Brother and my fans.”
Phyna used to be one of the six finalists standing after spending 70 days (10 weeks) in the house.
She obtained into the residence as a member of Level Two.
During the show, she was romantically involved with a fellow housemate, Groovy, who was once evicted in Week Nine.
Ebuka had earlier introduced the eviction of Rachel, Chizzy, Daniella, Chi Chi, and Bella from the Big Brother House.
The remaining housemates in Week 10 were: Bella, Daniella, Bryann, Phyna, Chi Chi, Adekunle, Bella, and the two riders, Chizzy and Rachel.
Chizzy was the first of the finalists to be evicted whilst Rachel followed.
Minutes after, Daniella, Chi Chi, Adekunle, and Bella were additionally evicted.
Phyna and Bryann, the closing two housemates standing, walked out of the residence onto the stage before Phyna was announced the winner.
According to the organisers, Phyna’s rewards consist of the N50 million money prize, a top-of-the-range activity utility vehicle (SUV) from Nigerian automaker, Innoson Motors, a trip to Dubai for two packaged via TravelBeta, and a year’s provide of Pepsi, among other prizes totaling another N50 million.
