2023: Niger Gov advices citizens to participate positively in democratic processes

The Niger State Governor and Chairman, North Central States Governors Forum, Alh. Abubakar Sani Bello has called on residents of the state to take part positively in all the democratic approaches that will usher in some other administration in the country.

The Governor, in a announcement to mark the party of Eid-el-Maulud, reminded them of the want to come out and be politically active during the intervals ahead of the election.

He advised the Muslim Ummah to continually show humility, tolerance, gratitude, care, and love to one another, as they are some of the most necessary virtues that guarantee peaceable co-existence and progress of any society.

“The Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) had lived an exemplary life worthy of emulation via all adherents of the religion. I am calling all on them to use the event of the prophet’s delivery and mirror on the essential classes of his existence and times,” he said.

Bello reminded the Muslim Ummah that humanity is fast losing its essence because of the obvious brush aside for the teachings and exercise of religions.

He explained that the Prophet’s servitude, exemplary conduct, and leadership qualities need to serve as the righteous direction which each leader and follower would choose to follow.

According to him, “Indeed, our socio-political and economic well-being will be higher of and the whole world a better region to stay in if we imbibe the exemplary virtues and practically practice the teachings and exercise of the noble Prophet (SAW).”

He also advised them to proceed to be law-abiding, prayerful, patient, and optimistic that the existing administration in the state and the country would proceed to bring necessary interventions that would enhance the socio-economic well-being of residents
