University of Ibadan Lecturer Has Debunk Given Students $100 for Attending First Class

Dr. Bisi Olawuyi, a lecturer with the University of Ibadan has brushed aside reports that he gave 10 of his students 100 dollars each for attending his first class after the ASUU strike.

Earlier, reports made rounds that the lecturer had gifted ten of his students the greenback notes for being the first students to attend his class.

Pictures of the dollar notes he had supposedly given them went viral, as students trooped to the lecturer’s web page in droves to solicit theirs.

However, the lecturer has debunked the declare and has advised Nigerians to dismiss it.

Dr. Bisi tweeted:

“My attention has been drawn to a tweet circulating that I gave $100 each to 10 students. This is not in any way true. Please kindly disregard this. Thank you.”
