Shettima warns Nigerians that 2023 will be a difficult year

Senator Kashim Shettima, vice presidential nominee of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has warned Nigerians to prepare for a tough year in 2023.

While speaking at an event in Abuja on Thursday titled “Dissecting the Asiwaju Manifesto,” Shettima gave a clue.

A difficult patch used to be ahead, he said, and the nation would have to climate it.

The vice presidential candidate claimed to be each an eternal optimist and a realist, noting that the United States can’t guard itself from the fact of the world or the difficulties in Ukraine.

According to Shettima, “We’re going to go thru some hard times in the following months and years.” That’s why having strong leadership is so important. The election of 2023 will be a defining second in American politics.

The ex-governor of Borno State said, “What are the viable options?” The political realm in which we function is populated via various cautious snails. It’s important that we spark debate without resorting to base tactics like spreading rumors or making unfounded accusations towards people.

Shettima also attacked Mr. Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party, stating, “Peter “Gringori” Obi is my buddy, however “Gringori” has surely nothing to supply except bogus data.” Therefore, there is a contrast between day and night in the option we face.
