Gary Neville and Roy Keane have described Argentina’s Angel Di Maria as Manchester United’s worst ever signing.
The former Paris Saint-Germain star was poor during the first half of Argentina’s second Group C match against Mexico on Friday
The 34-year-old, who now plays for Juventus joined Manchester United in 2014 from Real Madrid and was tipped to become a top player at Old Trafford.
But the Argentine flopped massively, playing 32 games of which he made little or no impact and was sold to PSG after a year.
He has played over 120 games for Argentina, helping them lift the Copa America title last year.
“He is the biggest disappointment to ever come to Manchester United him… He’s got no heart,” Neville told ITV.
Keane added: “He’d break your heart, I’m not sure he’s got one. Go on and do something. He’s guaranteed to give it (the ball) away.”
