Messi vs Ronaldo: Liverpool’s Nunez picks his best player

Liverpool striker, Darwin Nunez, has given a hilarious response when asked to pick his best player between Paris Saint-German’s Lionel Messi and former Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo.

Nunez has weighed in on the Messi vs Ronaldo debate but did not name either Ballon d’Or winners when he gave his answer.

Ahead of Liverpool’s Premier League tie with Leicester City on Friday night, the Uruguay international was asked by a fan as he went out to sign some autographs.

Nunez happened to be alongside his Liverpool teammate Mohamed Salah and opted for the Egyptian international.

When asked to choose between Messi and Ronaldo, Nunez simply replied: “Salah.”

Salah was signing autographs at the time of Nunez’s answer and didn’t seem to know the nature of the question when his name was said.
