EPL: Three big teams will drop out – Paul Merson names teams to finish top four this season

Former Arsenal winger, Paul Merson has predicted the teams to finish within Premier League top four this season.

He warned Graham Potter’s Chelsea that they risk missing out on top four this term

Arsenal are current leading the Premier League followed by Manchester City while Newcastle United seem serious in their battle for the third place.

The Blues are stumbling in eighth position and will have to fight hard to occupy the last spot ahead of Manchester United and Tottenham.

“The only problem is that Newcastle and Arsenal have thrown a spanner in the works,” Merson said on Daily Star.

“They have started so well those two teams, that Chelsea are behind the eight ball and fighting for the top four.”

“I don’t see Newcastle or Arsenal letting up at the moment,” said insisting that two top teams will drop out of top four.

“Two top teams who miss out but this year you’re talking three.”
