Former Liverpool star, Danny Murphy has told Manchester United outcast Jadon Sancho to see Alejandro Garnacho’s performance in Red Devils’ 2-1 win over Manchester City as a motivation
Sancho has been left out of the Manchester United squad since after the World Cup with manager Erik ten Hag revealing the England international has been struggling ‘physically and mentally’.
Sancho, a £73m signing, has returned to Old Trafford but there is still no timescale for his return to the United side.

Murphy has now told the 23-year-old Sancho to look at Gamacho and United’s recent performances as motivation.
“Garnacho was a revelation against Manchester City on such a big stage, he was a revelation when he came on,” Murphy told Daily Mail.
“Not many 18-year-olds could handle the occasion with a combination of maturity and fearlessness.
“If I was Jadon Sancho, I’d be looking at him and United’s performance as motivation.”
