EPL: How I escaped red card in Man City’s 3-1 win over Arsenal – Grealish

Manchester City midfielder, Jack Grealish, has revealed how he escaped picking up a red card during their 3-1 win over Arsenal on Wednesday night.

Grealish’s goal restored City’s lead, after Bukayo Saka cancelled out Kevin De Bruyne’s finish.

Erling Haaland broke in the 72nd minute and Ilkay Gundogan squared for an unmarked Grealish.

His shot took a deflection off Tomiyasu to find the net, before Haaland made it 3-1.

Speaking about the goal on Amazon Prime, he said: “I was going to reverse it but then I know Rammers from England and we always have banter, so I thought he’s going to think I’m going to try and reverse it.

“I was due one of them, just a deflection or something. I was going to take my top off, but I realised I was already on a yellow card so it’s a good job I didn’t.”
