ASUU strike suspension: ATBU fixes November 7 as resumption date

Following the suspension of eight months strike by Academic Staff Union of University (ASUU), the union chapter of the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi, on Thursday, said it would resume full academic lectures on November 7, 2020

DAILY POST recalls that a few weeks ago, ASUU had called its eight-month strike following a court injunction.

However, in a statement issued after a special meeting of its senate, the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi has fixed November 7 as the approved date for resumption.

According to the release, lectures for the first semester 2021/2022 academic season will continue on that day.
