Rivers United, Enyimba clash in Federation Cup Wednesday
The Federation Cup Round 64 encounter between Enyimba and Rivers United will now take place on Wednesday, DAILY POST reports.
The match was earlier scheduled to take place last Thursday but was postponed due to Rivers United’s engagement in the CAF Confederation Cup.
The highly anticipated clash between the two heavyweights will take place at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.
Both teams have been in tremendous form of late in the Nigeria Premier Football League.
The winner of the clash will play Plateau United in the Round of 32.
Rivers United is yet to win Nigeria’s oldest club competition, while Enyimba has won it four times.
